  • In everyone's lives, there are many personal situations. Some people can't work anymore because of age or physical limitations, and we understand that because we may all face this eventually. For those who can work, it's important to actively search for a job with our help. We are here to support you. For example, if you spend all your time playing video games instead of working or taking care of your health, you won't make progress. If you're truly committed to improving your life, you'll succeed here, even though we all experience failures. Honesty and building relationships are highly valued among our residents. We want to establish trust and be trustworthy. Sometimes we might need to provide extra support for things like addiction or managing money, if we think it's necessary. But we prefer not to make demands unless it's absolutely necessary.

To live here, you must help with household chores. Failing to do so will result in you leaving. We require you to keep things clean and organized. There may be monthly meetings, events, and courses that you need to participate in, but they won't be overly burdensome.

  • Yes, we think that people who live here should have their own area (except for single mothers with young children). In our men's housing in Ogden, you will have your own refrigerator too. You will have your own key, and only the staff can enter your room. We respect your need for privacy, and we will only enter your home when necessary or for repairs. We want this place to be a safe and welcoming "home" for you, and we hope you feel at home here.

  • We understand that everyone has made mistakes, including some very serious ones. We aim to collaborate with individuals who we believe can take responsibility for their actions, even if it means taking risks. During the interview process, we expect individuals to honestly share any criminal history. Failing to do so, will result in not being offered a place or not having your housing agreement renewed with us if you are already in our housing. Many of our residents have a previous history, just like all of us, but we value honesty and openness.

  • No, we don't usually have an official waiting list because we've found that it's not very effective. We do stay in touch with some people who are interested in our services but can't currently join. We understand that sometimes people have to make their own plans before we can assist them.

  • Yes, we do allow this but only on a case-by-case basis after careful consideration and approval. However, we only accept requests from residents who are already settled and thriving.

  • No. We do not allow people to spend the night that do not live there.

  • ALL visitors may need to be approved before they are allowed dependent upon location.

  • The expenses vary and depend on where you are and what meals are provided. If you truly need it, you might qualify for rent support after a thorough review of your situation. The costs start at $500 per month, including meals, and increase based on the location(s).
