Victory Housing provides safe, secure and truly affordable community housing for single men, single women and women with children. Residents come to us from diverse places and with diverse needs and staff work with residents in a goal setting, counselling, advocacy and systems navigation role(s) where appropriate. This is done to increase people’s individual resources and facilitate opportunity to foster positive changes in resident’s lives. We also work with residents diligently to find sustainable market housing when they leave our housing. However, we recognize that individual circumstances may mean that some people may benefit from this community and/or may not have the legitimate ability to move on to something more positive; thus, we do not always require people to leave.
PLEASE NOTE
Victory Housing is drug and alcohol free housing both when you are in housing and when you are away from your housing residence. Drug and alcohol testing are on site. As well, there is no pornography or gambling allowed .
We desire to offer safe, secure and affordable housing to everyone and our residents expect this. Many of our residents are now staff and/or work with us to deliver these same services. We want the very best for our residents, and we work hard to be flexible in our arrangements with residents to help them achieve their goals. Life is difficult for all of us at times and while we do not expect perfection we do expect honest relationships.
